The Early Childhood Education Program at BHCC is designed to prepare students for transfer to four-year institutions to become licensed educators working in preschool settings. The Education Department is seeking instructors to teach in-person courses between day hours (8:30 A.M. - 4:00 P.M.) or evening hours (6:00 P.M. or later).

We are seeking an instructor with the following skills:

• Field experience teaching, infant, toddler, preschool
• Knowledge of the Massachusetts Early Education and Care credentialing system
• Flexibility to teach in-person, day, evening, or weekends
• Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education

Available course(s) starting Fall 2025.

• Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education or professional educator licensure with Master's Degree in other relevant content area.
• Experience teaching infant, toddler, or preschool-aged children, preferably in Massachusetts.
• Engage with community college faculty, staff, and students to support student success.
• Desire to prepare future educators to provide high-quality instruction.
• Commitment to helping future educators think critically about how education systems impact students.

Salary: $1,397.00 per credit hour
