The School of Nursing at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (UTC) seeks a full time 9-month, non-tenure track clinical faculty member in the traditional Bachelor of Science in Nursing concentration. The School of Nursing offers the BSN and DNP degrees in Nursing and embraces the shared governance model and Boyer's Model of scholarship.
Effective Date: January 1, 2025
Responsibilities:
- Teach, advise, and engage in scholarship activities.
- Clinical instruction in the undergraduate concentration focusing on fundamentals/basic skills and acute medical-surgical nursing for the traditional Bachelor of Science in Nursing concentration.
- Participate in the school of Nursing, university service and/or professional service.
- Assist in monitoring and supporting learner success and collaborating with curriculum development and revisions.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in nursing. Doctoral preparation in Nursing or related field preferred.
- Demonstrated clinical proficiency in acute care settings, medical-surgical nursing at all levels.
- Academic teaching experience preferred.
